Say what happened
A conversation, a tap, or a few lines typed at midnight. Whatever you can manage counts; there is no right length and no correct way to do it.
For people in therapy
Therapy is an hour. Life is the rest of the week. Healing Space is a place to say what happened in between โ in your own words, in as long or as little as you have โ so the next session can start where you actually left off. You decide what your therapist sees.
Less than you would expect. You are not being asked to keep clinical notes about your own life โ the technology carries that part.
A conversation, a tap, or a few lines typed at midnight. Whatever you can manage counts; there is no right length and no correct way to do it.
Writing something down and handing it over are two separate decisions. Reflections stay private unless you share them, one at a time, and you can change your mind afterwards.
Healing Space does the organising: grouping what you authorised by the stretch since your last session, keeping its date, and keeping it in your words.
Ten seconds, twenty minutes, or nothing at all. All three are fine, and none of them is scored.
"Rough night." One line, or one tap on a mood. That is a complete use of Healing Space, not a half-finished one.
A proper reflection, a thought record, a grounding exercise, a look back at how the last few months have gone โ there when they help, and never nagging when they do not.
Nothing punishes you for a quiet week, and not opening Healing Space is never treated as a sign that something is wrong with you.
Being in therapy should not mean being watched. Continuity is worth having; surveillance is not the price of it.
Reflections are private unless you share them. If you say whether something helped, that answer takes the privacy of whatever it is attached to โ on a private reflection, even the fact that you answered stays private.
What reaches your therapist is what you authorised. Access to your record is logged, so there is an answer to who looked at what and when.
Some things are part of your clinical record and are not held back โ appointments, medications, and measures your service administers. We would rather tell you that than imply everything is private. The privacy policy names who processes what, including our AI provider.
Not a report about you. A thread you can both pick up.
Written down when you thought of it, kept in the words you used, and there at the start of the session rather than at minute forty-eight.
Your therapist reads what you chose to share before the hour begins, so more of it is available for the actual work.
You can look back across your therapy too โ what you recorded, what you shared, what was agreed and how it changed, each item showing where it came from.
If a mental health product will not tell you plainly what it cannot do, ask yourself why.
Nobody is watching a screen, and there is no continuous monitoring. In crisis, use the contacts at the top of every page โ 999, Samaritans 116 123, or text SHOUT to 85258.
There is a conversation, and it is honest about being software. It does not do therapy, does not diagnose, does not prescribe, and does not replace your therapist.
It will show you that a score moved between two dates. It will not tell you what that means, whether you are improving, or what caused what. Those belong to you and your therapist.
Healing Space is being developed and evaluated. Some of what you may have heard about is not finished.
Typed conversation, mood and sleep, your agenda, reflections and sharing controls, CBT tools, safety plan, appointments, measures and your own record to look back at.
A simpler conversation-first way in, and the ability for the conversation to offer to save something you clearly stated โ a mood rating, hours slept, something to raise next time โ which you confirm before anything is written.
Voice is a direction we are developing and evaluating, not something we are offering you. The current prototype relies on the browser's own speech recognition, which may involve an outside vendor โ so we are investigating on-device or Healing-Space-controlled speech instead.
The same intervention, described for the people who use it differently.
People join through their practice or therapist rather than signing up alone โ that link to your care is the point, because this exists to help the two of you keep hold of the work.
